25th August 2006 Plymouth The Junction

Yesterday I went to take some stuff to the solicitors, on the way back I walked past a pub that has recently been done up, It has a sign saying open Mic night Thursday. I thought this might be fun, so rang Paul and left a message in his LJ. Didnt hear anything so I texted him this morning and he said yes so at 8pm we totted off from my works to the Junction on Mutley Plain. Now Ive never been to a pub down the plain other than to the weatherspoons for lunch on a Sunday, as it turned out, it was a pretty friendly place, a guy called Alex puts the bill together after he plays a few tunes himself. We went on at around 10 and we played a 4 song 20 min set the songs we played were:-
Fortunes Light
Cant Find My Way Home
Dream Stalker
Morning Dew

We got a very good reaction from the audience, far better than some of the proper Corrosion shows we have done, a guy called Les went of after, he had a stunning voice, should catch up with him at another one of these as we plan to do it again, very soon.
